SOUTHERN PERU SURFARIS
Peru is one of the most consistent regions
for quality surf in the world. When the locals say it
is flat, it is actually near head high! The most popular
spots in the area south of Lima are San Bartolo and
Punta Hermosa. The region has some excellent waves for
all levels of surfing ability. Some of these include
El Paso, La Isla, Señoritas, La Herradura and
Punta Rocas.

Playa Norte is a fun wave to suit
all levels of surfer

Cerra Azul is 100 km South of San Bartolo.
Allow one of our guides to give you the opportunity
to explore the many waves of this region. There is a
whole range of great point and beach breaks with low
crowds. Our guides will have you surfing the best waves
of the day with no hassles!

This region of Peru is open to both north
and south swells, which gives the region an all-round
season of surf. The peak season for swell is between
March through to December. For Peru's winter months
we suggest that you bring at least a 2/3 steamer and
some warm clothes. Our guide will take care of all the
guess work, so all you have to worry about is what board
you ride, and he can even help you with that!

In summer the south beaches of Lima are
famous for a vibrant nightlife and huge beach parties.
There is a good variety of different restaurants to
indulge in. For the days where you decide to do the
tourist thing, there are a lot of great activities including,
checking out Peru's amazing Inca sites, Parapente (think
parachuting from a cliff!) and river kayaking.

The famous Punta Rocas and a typical
Peruvian sunset
Definitely a classic surf trip, Peru has
a lot to offer the traveling surfer but as in all places
where personal safety can sometimes be an issue, having
your own personal surf guide gives you confidence and
peace of mind. Our guides are experienced locals and
have all aspects of the region covered and will help
make your trip to Peru one never to forget!

CHICAMA - CENTRAL
PERU SURFARIS
Central Peru has some of the longest waves in the planet.
Peru's arid coastline is never too hot or too cold.
Its privileged angle facing southwest is the perfect
face to gather all south and southwest swells that run
endlessly along the points and reefs.

Chicama
Our trips north leave Lima early morning
heading north. We generally find some awesome lefts
less than 2 hours of leaving Lima! After a session in
the water, we will visit the pyramids at Caral, which
predate the Inca civilisation by 4,000 years! The visit
is totally worth it and we will have the chance to see
the archaeologists carrying out excavations at this
pre-ceramic city that changed history as we know it.
Our trip will continue north to the perfect waves of
La Libertad. This privileged area houses some of the
longest lefts in the planet and is so blessed by nature
that it is possible to surf every day of the year!

The Pyramids and Bermejo!
Let our guides take you there and show
you spots like Pacasmayo, Huanchaco, Chicama or Puemape,
all of which will blow your mind! Best season for the
southern hemisphere action is from March to November.
Solid south and southwest swells will bring corduroy
like lines to all these spots.

Some amazingly long waves at Pacasmayo
Surfers of all levels will find the perfect lefts of
this part of Peru amazing fun. From longboarding to
guns, solid Pacasmayo, or overhead Chicama will work
perfectly. Shortboards are fine for waves like Puemape
with super fast sections making for a show. If you feel
like a time traveller, you can try surfing a Totora
reed boat in Huanchaco and experience riding waves in
what is probably the first tool made by man to specifically
ride waves to shore.

Pacasmayo town and beachbreaks
Peru is a mix of perfect uncrowded waves, friendly people,
amazing cuisine and history. Time goes slow and waves
go fast. Let us take you there.

More lefts than anywhere else!

of the Incas".
We tour the ruins for around 3 hours, during which time

achieved by the builders of this famous site. The tight
construction, the water channels, the staircases carved
from the living rock of the mountain, and the Intihuatana,
(or "Hitching Post of the Sun"), which served
as an astronomical calendar, all show technological
advancement far beyond anything this area of the world
was thought to have achieved. These, along with the
Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, the Priests' House,
the Inca Baths and the Temple of the Three Windows,
all allow us to glimpse back into the past and, with
the help of our guide, revisit the lives of these truly
remarkable people.
