The island of Kauai is located to the north west of
Oahu and is only a 30-minute flight from Honolulu domestic
airport. Kauai is the ultimate escape for the active
surfer. Sometimes called ‘The Land of Waves’,
Kauai has many surf spots on the island, most of which
remain a secret. The more well-known waves are Hanalei
Bay, Cannons and Tunnels.

One of the many
secret spots and Hanalei Bay going off!
One thing quite well-known and quickly learned about
Kauai is that if you think you can just toddle off,
find some waves and be able to surf them, "well
good luck"!
To have a successful surf trip anywhere without local
knowledge you run the risk of missing the day's best
surf, and Kauai is no exception. Our surf guides have
lived on Kauai all of their lives and will make sure
that you are soon surfing the best and least-crowded
waves for your ability. They will also give you a real
insight into this amazing island, its culture and aloha,
that will stay with you for life.

Kauai is known as ‘The Garden Island’ and
when you take a helicopter ride over the tropical rainforest
to view the breathtaking waterfalls, you’ll soon
understand why. And if that’s not enough for you
then there’s canoeing, hiking, windsurfing and
fishing just to name but a few.
